Is the visit of Pelosi (US) to Taiwan and prelude to war? Was it just for a photo op that the visit was intended for? I don’t seem to recall any public announcement to the Taiwanese people of their intention.

I remember months ago that there were intelligence report that Russia was mobilizing its war machine towards Ukraine. Then comes 2022 and that’s what they did. They invaded Ukraine. The West knew about it. They gave speeches about their solidarity with Ukraine. That Ukraine is not alone.

When the invasion started, nothing was done. Only the media went frenzy about it. The west can’t do nothing since Ukraine was not a part of NATO. Why give Ukraine false hope when they knew that they wont be able to help?

This would be the same with Taiwan. Leading to false hope. Just today, there were news that the US does not recognize Taiwan’s independence just to appease China. In fact, with this statement, China has won. Not only on Taiwan but also in it’s status as a Superpower.

A lot of people will be cheering that especially people in the US. They have no clue what it is like to be under a socialist society, or a dictatorship.
